Relationship issues whether with family members, our partners, personal or work related have always had an impact to our sense of self, the way we view ourselves and how we relate to others.
Relationships can provide us with security, affection, hope, trust, honesty and openness but at the same time this can be a ground for our deepest fears and vulnerabilities and can lead on to some of our most damaging behaviours.
Most relationship issues and distresses tends to be characterised around money, trust, sex, communication, appreciation, etc…………..
Therapy can be very effective in helping the clients mental and emotional states, simply talking about the issue in an open safe environment and exploring all of our thoughts and feelings can often make you feel better. Simply by talking about those familiar thoughts and emotions and knowing that the other person is open for listening without judgement towards you, can be a wonderful healing process for the client (after all a problem well stated is a problem half solved).
Therapy provides a supportive, non-judgemental, caring and safe environment to help you find the way through any conflicts and problems that you encounter in your relationships.
We will work together to bring an understanding and develop better ways to communicate with ourselves, taking a constructive view of our thoughts and feelings. At the same time learning to listen to the other person, and their point of view about the relationship, will be less likely to generate those unwanted emotional and mental difficulties.
It can sometimes be difficult and challenging to confront and ultimately modify your beliefs (thoughts) especially if you are not emotionally well grounded. This becomes difficult to reason with as when there is negative energy and emotions these drive your thoughts and finally your behaviours.
Is very important to be able to identify and attach yourself with new resources, but in order to achieve this we will need to explore and work on the present emotional state and achieve a more relaxed, peaceful and balanced default way you feel inside, because when you are feeling relaxed and at peace you will start to generate more positive thinking pattens which will deliver more desirable and supportive emotional states.
Therapies such as Hypnosis CBT and NLP are powerful interventions that will assist you in developing and changing your current internal states into more open and positive ones. The treatments also help to change the way you perceive the other person so that you can then react in a new naturally calm, confident way which will free you to move some of those long held desires and turn them into your smart goals, which when you achieve, will deliver more of what you want in your life.
